Welcome to Ella’s Site

We took advantage of BAMM (Broward Attractions and Museums Month - if you have a membership at any of the participating museums, you can get in to all the participating museums for free for the month of June) since we are members of the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum we visited Flamingo Gardens for free today. Ella had a blast running around and seeing all the animals. The peacocks were the highlight of her day - even though she kept calling them chickens.

Here she is watching some turtles - she really wanted them to “wake up” - they were just laying there sunning themselves and I guess she felt they needed to be more active…

And this is an injured bald eagle. He had just finished giving himself a nice long bath and decided to spin dry - I guess!

Here she is practicing jumping in. The second time she goes completely under. It freaked her out for a second, but she quickly got over it.

I made Ella some green beans and meatballs for dinner. She didn’t touch the meatballs until she finished all of her green beans.

Ella discovered she likes to stack bottles when we were working in the kitchen

I was peeling ginger and garlic for dinner and Ella got a hold of the ginger - and loved it!!

Auntie Erica bought a tube like this from IKEA for her dogs - and Ella loved it. So a few months ago I went out and bought the same one. Ella and the dogs love it!
